I had to tell you this Steve Perry story. I was with my Mom and
Brother this past weekend. We were going to Novato (in California) to an
Indian Pow Wow. Well, somewhere, we misread it and it turned out to be a BOW
WOW LUAU for dogs for the blind. We were pissed off for driving all the way
there and there was a bow wow so we turned around and got caught in heavy
Marin traffic so we decided to go to Petaluma for lunch.
Well we went to
this place called McNears and as we walked in I noticed this guy who looked
like Steve Perry. I glanced again and told my brother that I think that that
guy looks like Steve Perry. After checking him out and staring through the
windows I asked the waitress (who had no idea who he was until I mentioned
Journey) if in fact that was Steve Perry. She asked around to the other wait
staff who didn't even recognize him. She then asked him if he was Steve
Perry and he said that he wasn't with Journey and he was Steve Perry but
please don't tell anyone until he had finished his lunch.
After that all the
waitresses went out and then the cook went out. It was quite the
entertainment. We didn't go out there because we respect people's privacy
although it may not sound like it because I told the waitress and she told
everyone else. I just have to end this by saying, he is much cuter in person
than on TV.
