THANK YOU STEVE FOR ALL THE GREAT MUSIC WITH JOURNEY AND IN YOUR SOLO CAREER. IT SEEMS FUNNY SEEING ANOTHER LEAD SINGER WITH JOURNEY! TO ME IT’S LIKE THE BEATLES WITHOUT JOHN LENNON OR PAUL McCARTNEY. I SAW YOU PERFORM WITH JOURNEY IN THE OLD BOSTON GARDEN IN THE EARLY 80′S AND IT WAS A GREAT SHOW! THANK YOU STEVE.

I’m a 41-year-old”-girl ” who’s just started learning how to deal with” technology” to avoid being out of what happens in the world!!!
I”ve just got my first computer in the beggining of this year (what a shame!!!)
So, I still have to search all kind of information about what’s been happening in your life in the last years and then make comments!!!
For now I say I miss the 80′s, the best years of my life!!!
And I do miss you.
Kisses from a big fan of yours.

To The One and ONLY Steve Perry:

In my 20′s I went to concerts of Journey and thought you and the band put on the best shows of all the major names in those days. Today I enjoy listening to how musical your voice is, almost divine. As a musician myself I enjoy trying to capture the magic of your phrases in those great hits on the cello. Cello Karaoke anyone? Gotta find out what new material you’re doing these days.

All the best,

Mike

Well, I wanted to leave a positive message after I complained about Steve’s picture. I can see that he is enjoying his life and he is happy! Who wouldn’t be he is “King of the World”. I wonder how it feels to be him and so adored by many. I wanted to say that I just got acquainted with the music from the album “For the love of strange Medicine.” I love that title, it says to me that sometimes we have to do strange things to become happy and have some kind of normalcy in our lives. I love the song ” I am” and I think its “you better wait.” I think its the best album Ive heard, better than the journey hits, and those were pretty amazing. What I love about Steve’s music, especially this album, nobody else can sing it, he owns those songs, because there really his. I am a singer myself, trying to learn “I am” its a complex tune, wonderful song. So haunting. Keep writing Steve. Luv, Bettina

wOW I am 48 yrs. old and I remember the first time I heard your voice. I worked at a bowling alley outside of PHILLY PA. We had a pinball hangout with a juke box, I was 15 at the time. the guy came in and put new music in the box and then played the songs. Next thing that I hear is–WINTER IS HERE AGAIN OH LORD– my head turned so quickly to the jukebox and then ran over to it and asked the guy WHO IS THIS! He pointed to the label and I was hooked. JOURNEY/STEVE PERRY FANATIC for life. Steve your have been my rock IDOL since 1978 and will be for life. Your VOICE has been the soundtrack to my life. I am hearing things that you may put out new music , joy to the world including your fans as well as me. I hope the past few years have been good to you. I LOVE YA MAN you made my life real happy, you truly are the VOICE!

Hi Steve, I first heard your voice on the radio back in 78 singing “Wheel in the Sky.” I’ve been a die hard fan ever since. I first saw you on stage when I was 15 and have never missed a show since whenever you came to CT, sometimes seeing you three nights in a row. Your voice and music have helped me through tough times in my live. My dream now is to see you again on stage after such a long absence.
Mario

Hi Steve, Mario’s my dad and I’ve been listening to your music for years now. I would love to see you in person at a concert with my dad. You are the greatest singer and I’m your number one young fan. We love you Steve and hope to see you soon.

Hey Steve Perry, im only 20 years old but with my love for music and for Journey… there is only one wish i would like to come true….please please please reunite with your former band i was born in 1989, and i never got to see you guys perform, just do a ten song set or hell even one song, just make sure it”s faithfully, you are the reason i love Journey, and hopefully in the future maybe i will be able to see the voice in person.

Kim July 29, 2010

Hey Steve Perry sir…i also am a product of the 80′s era of music meaning I left hs with a mighty bang…its a long story or maybe I am to lazy to tell you thats probably why…anyway to make a short story long ha ha ..I do love you when you were a lead singer in Journey..and an awesome performer it seems as though you really were having a blast on stage, fortunatley I made it just in time to see the newest dvd that was recorded and I used to keep tabs or try to anyway..on the history you made while you were in Journey and throughout youre solo career..I kept the cds that did not have the same tunes and donated the others..I guess I never could part with them totally/.If you are ever in the mood to make another cd it wouldnt hurt my feelings one little bit..well take care…awesome one love ya..

Connie July 29, 2010

Hi Steve,
I’m not sure if you read these messages or not but I too have been a fan of yours and of Journey since the late 70′s. You have the most powerful and recognizable voice in rock music. No one could ever take your place as Journey’s lead singer–you are Journey! My favorite Journey songs are too numerous to mention. Your music and lyrics have personal meaning to me as they describe relationships I have had through the years. Even though your voice lives on through the music you have already created, it would truly be incredible to see and hear you perform again either solo or with Journey. I hope you will reconsider giving a final performance.

CYNTHIA J August 20, 2010

STEVE…WE NEED YOU BACK!!!!
EVERYTIME I HEAR ANY OF JOURNEY’S BACK IN THE DAY SONGS, IT TEARS MY HEART OUT THAT YOU’RE NOT STILL OUT THERE TOUCHING PEOPLE’S HEARTS…I NEVER HAD A CHANCE TO SEE YOU LIVE, BUT IF I COULD I THINK I’D DIED AND GONE TO HEAVEN…I DON’T KNOW IF YOU READ THESE…BUT YOU’RE STILL THE MAN!!! TO ALOT OF FOLKS…WE’D LIKE YOU TO COME TO SAN JOSE,CA OR ANYWHERE CLOSE TO US AND WE’LL BE THERE…I’M FOREVER YOURS…FAITHFULLY……

clint bertke September 4, 2010

Steve, as a 36 year old man who certainly grew up in the 80′s…I have only three musical wishes. I saw The Police reunite ( which was never gonna happen ) and that came true. I saw it with my own eyes and cried the first 2 songs…

I hope that The Cars will reunite with Rick, but who knows…

I, as well as everyone I know, pray that Journey will tour again with Steve Perry…

Gents., we’re gettin old…you guys ARE old…Let’s do this already!!

Your loyal fans will pay top $$

If the Police can do it; why can’t you guys ?

WTF ??
