Hey everybody, nothing new to report on Steve but I want to thank everybody who have left their comments and messages in the comment area and thank you for sharing your stories. I really appreciate it, keep doing it, keep posting your words of encouragement or disappointment, who knows someday Steve might just drop by and read them.

World Cup 2010

It's Friday already here and the World Cup 2010 starts today! Woo!! Woo!! This is the time when families are divided, friends become foes and wives are neglected. For the next five weeks I will eat, live and breathe football, everything else will take a back seat, even Steve :-) so apologies for my MIA here next few weeks. Hope there're lots of drama and controversies and stupid referee decisions, for what is World Cup without all that but no penalty shoot outs please, my heart can't take it.

Good luck to host nation South Africa, Mexico, Uruguay and France in their opening matches later today. Good luck to team USA, you're gonna need it :-), playing against England tomorrow, that's a tough one. Steve Perry was skeptical when the producers of a television pilot about a high school glee club sought permission to use his band's signature song in their show; the former frontman for the classic rock group Journey is protective of his legacy. "I want to be able to put these songs somewhere with good conscience that they're not going to be abused," Perry said in a recent interview. "I don't want to see that happen." He needn't have worried. Perry overcame his doubts, agreed to license the song to the producers of " Glee," and a year later "Don't Stop Believin' " has reached a new generation of music fans.
Perry said he loves the "Glee" version of "Don't Stop Believin.'" "They really worked hard to make it their own," he said. What's more, "it's actually brought people's attention to go check out the original. … It's something I never thought I'd see in my lifetime."

At last! here's the new look of Steve Perry Online. I finally took some time to learn how to use Wordpress, took me months to figure out how it works. I was forced to make the change because my server was hacked twice last year. I was told that it's much safer to use Wordpress and everyone in the planet seems to be using it so hopefully no more hacking problem. Feel free to browse through and if you have any comments or suggestion please post it in the comment area, please be gentle I'm just a housewife :-) I customised everything myself by trial and error, so proud of myself he..he.. (pats self on the back)

Journey tribute in Glee season finale

At the 2010 Paley Festival, producer Ryan Murphy said that there will be a tribute to Journey in the season finale of Glee.

And don’t stop believin’: another icon who’s become closely associated with the series will also get a tribute show. “Steve Perry from Journey came by the set yesterday,” revealed Murphy. “We’re gonna do a big Journey tribute to him on the show in the season finale.”
