HI Steve,
This is a long shot but I am a music teacher in upstate NY in a very poor school district. I teach a music tech class about recording and performing. The kids decided to put together a rock band and are singing Don’t Stop Believin’. We will be performing it at a free school concert on June 5th. If you were in the area around that time it would be great if you could stop in. Again I know it is probably a very long shot but hey ya never know. These kids would totally flip. Let me know.

He has “The Voice”. I saw Journey in New Orleans.It was awsome.I’ll never forget that concert.He does have a beautiful voice.

Hi Steve. This message is for you. Awhile back I saw “Journey” on one of the music channels. I was SO excited – until I saw that you were not the lead singer. They were playing all of Journey’s Hits, but no Steve Perry. Huge disappointment. HUGE. The guy they had singing sounds a lot like you and although he probably is a great singer, he was NOT you. Journey is NOT Journey without you. I changed the channel. Where have you been for the last 10 years? Please come back if only for your fans. We all miss you and your fantastically fantastic voice and presence. Thank you! :)

I’ve never written to a famous person before, but I’ve wanted to do this for a long time. For as long as a I can remember, “Faithfully” amd “Don’t Stop Believen” have gotten me through some very rough times. Abusive relationships, car accident and breast cancer (seven years free). The world can be cruel at times and my twin sister who now lives with me knows to get out your dvd of hit songs. Before I know it I’m exercising and laughing and trying to dance (not pretty). It helps me to put things in perspective. Those dark moods don’t have to stay forever. Thank you Steve. Between my support person and twin sister, Heide and your lovely music life seems doable. Sound too dramatic? Sorry, it gets difficult going in public with how I look know. Good days and bad days. Hope your good days outnumber the bad. Be happy!
