There’s no Birthday Q&A with Steve this year but he did post a message at Fan Asylum
I would like to thank everyone for their support on the recent ebay charity auctions we’ve had and also – Thank you so very much for all the birthday well wishes on my 53rd birthday—(hehe).
Look what came just in time for my birthday! Thanks to all of you for making “Don’t Stop Believin” the biggest selling classic rock digital download track! All the very best to you and yours,
Steve Perry

I’m a Japanese junior high school students. I was aware of the existence of steve perry when you sing “we are the world” at school. I’m just listening to music and then journey. There is no way I’d love to hear it in the raw voice of steve! I think … I wish I had been born in the United States in more ancient times. I have not come to Japan in the past but you may wish to modify! I also wanted to go there! I love steve perry. You would not be reading this article, I wanted to bump somewhere feeling. Since the site was translated in translation, I’m sorry if the characters were funny …
Love you Steve. Saw you in New Haven, Ct for my sweet 16. NO ONE will ever compare to your awesome voice ..I wish you would come back doing something. Lifelong dream to personally meet you … Would make a girls dream come true xoxo
I sure wish you would comeback, I use to live in L.A. now live in Illinois. I think you have a beautiful voice that God gave you. It is a voice of all voices, still a fan and love to watch your videos. Do take care, and decide for yourself.
Steve, you know that you are loved and missed by millions. Your music has touched our lives in many ways and continues to do so. I am saddened that I never had the opportunity to experience one of your concerts, but if you come back for a bit, I most definitely will be there. We all love your music, but love YOU more and miss you. Just to see you on stage in the spotlight again smiling (with those beautiful eyes) would be so memorable. I have heard Journey’s song “After All These Years” and it is a beautiful song, but the intense feeling you could have put into that particular song would bring tears to our eyes. I could visualize you singing it! It would go down in history like “Faithfully”. We stood by YOU after all these years and love and miss you. Hope this gets passed onto you somehow.
Need You at my Party 55th! On sept 29! Melody I believe in you!!
Ok Mr Perry,
Its long over due, and many many many people await anxiously for your return. We want you back…please make it happen soon! April 4, 1980 Tucson Arizona (still have the ticket stub) was the last time I seen you LIVE and you know, life is short. We must not put off for tomorrow what Rock and Roll needs back today…
Congratulations on your latest downloading award!

Hi great page. I am on a quest if you will, I need to tell Steve Perry something about a dream he had. I need to tell him what mine was and ask him a question. I am so sorry I am being so evasive. It is just I have my privacy also, I just want to be able to explain something to him wich will help him and me. Really I don’t mean to be this way, but I value my privacy, and I don’t speak with too many people about this. Ok I will just keep trying. Ty so much. Take care and God bless. Becca DeBerry
Would really like to contact Steve Perry as my son is attending Berklee College of Music in Boston and he is a second cousin to Steve through his family from Visalia, CA. Both of my kids are musicians and would like to talk with Steve, although no one in the family seems to know how to reach him. Would appreciate any ideas.
If you look hard at the nielsson award you can see Steve Perry in the background right near Neal’s head….probably his reflection when the award photo was taken.
Everyday….it is the first song I lisen to as I get ready to face my day! You are my inspiration! I wish you would come to Fargo ND and put on a concert!!!!!!! (Then, of course, invite me back stage to meet you!! Haha..I know..it is just a dream, but I can still think to myself..”don’t stop believing”..right?
